Newell’s Old Boys have launched a new kit partnership with Italian manufacturer Givova by unveiling their new home & away strips in a ceremony in Rosario on Friday. Givova is a brand that is becoming increasingly familiar in Argentina with both Talleres and Banfield being kitted out by them in recent seasons.
Newell’s players Pablo Pérez, Leonel Vangioni and Jerónimo Cacciabue modelled the new kits which feature CityCenter as the club’s new sponsor. CityCenter is a hotel and casino in Rosario best known as the venue for Lionel Messi’s wedding to Antonella Roccuzzo in 2017.
The Newell’s home shirt is the classic red & black, half & half design that has become synonymous with the club since its foundation.

The away shirt is a white base with red & black thin stripes and a round-neck collar. Last year’s sponsor Adelante is retained for the sleeves of both shirts.

Givova have added a number of small details to both shirts including a number of stars lightly embedded in the famous Newell’s badge and an additional 7 stars on the back of the home shirt, signifying the club’s 7 championship wins (1974, 1988, 1990, 1991, 1992, 2004, 2013).

The new Newell’s Old Boys shirts by Givova will go on sale on our store in 1-2 weeks and will be available to purchase for all international regions.
The team will debut the shirt in the new 2022 Copa de la Liga which begins on the weekend of 11 February.
