The 29-year-old joins the club from Tigre until December 2022.
Newell’s Old Boys have announced the signing of Gabriel Compagnucci. The right winger leaves Tigre to join La Lepra where he has signed a contract until 2022. Newell’s will have the option to purchase his contract in 2021 and 2022 if his acquisition proves positive.
Compagnucci is a Córdoba-born midfielder who started his career at Sportivo Belgrano before spells with Douglas Haig and Almagro. More recently, he played in the Primera División with Unión and Patronato before moving to Tigre for $225,000 in 2020.
He becomes Fernando Gamboa’s second signing as Newell’s manager after the capture of Juan Garro.
Compagnucci has already joined up with the squad and has joined pre-season training at the Jorge Griffa Training Centre in Rosario.
