The Mendoza native becomes Fernando Gamboa’s first signing since taking over as Lepra manager
Newell’s Old Boys have confirmed the signing of Juan Fernando Garro from Huracán on an 18-month loan deal. The 28-year-old forward has already joined up with his teammates in Rosario.
Garro made his professional debut with Godoy Cruz, scoring 21 times in 84 games and providing 9 assists. He then moved to Frank Kudelka’s Huracán where he scored twice in 7 appearances last season.
He becomes Fernando Gamboa’s first addition of the winter with around 2-3 weeks before the new football season in Argentina kicks off.
