SPAIN
Lucas Boyé played for 85 minutes in Elche’s 2-2 away draw at Valladolid on 19 January, providing an assist after a nice turn for the opener scored by Josan.
Boyé was also starter and played the full game in his side’s home defeat to FC Barcelona on 24 January (0-2). Lionel Messi missed the game through suspension.
FRANCE
Mauricio Pochettino returned to the dugout after recovering from COVID-19 to witness his PSG side thrash Montpellier 4-0 on 22 January.
Mauro Icardi started the game and finished with a goal and an assist. His form under fellow Newell’s fan Pochettino has been impeccable since the former Spurs manager came to the club.
ITALY
Cristian Ansaldi started and played a full 90 minutes in Torino’s 2-2 draw away to Benevento on 22 January.
Nehuén Paz (Bologna) was an unused substitute this week while Fernando Forestieri (Udinese) is injured.
Enzo Barrenechea played for 84 minutes in Juventus U19’s 4-0 win over Sassuolo U19s.

NETHERLANDS
Lisandro Martínez started for Ajax in the KNVB Cup on 20 January, playing a full 90 minutes in the 0-1 against AZ Alkmaar. On 24 January, he was a late substitute, coming on after 73 minutes in the 1-2 away win at Sittard.
GREECE
Daniel Mancini scored for Aris Thessaloniki moments after coming off the bench in the 2-0 Greek Cup win against Asteras Tripolis.
In the league on 23 January, he started and played for 85 minutes as Aris won 0-1 away at Smyrnis.
CYPRUS
Emanuel Dening scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot in Paralimni’s third win in a row (0-1) at Olympiakos Nicosia on 20 January. Adrian Lucero played a full 90 minutes in that game also. Paralimni’s unbeaten streak was ended by Omonia a few days later as they lost 0-1, with Dening playing for 83 minutes (Lucero was not in the squad).
SAUDI ARABIA
Ever Banega played a full 90 minutes for Al-Shabab in their 1-1 home draw against Al-Faisaly in the Saudi Premier League on 19 January.
Cristian Lema played a full 90 minutes in Damac’s rare 2-0 win over Al Batin on 20 January. He was taken off after 78 minutes in their 3-1 away defeat to Al-Taawon on 25 January.

Nahuel Guzmán kept a clean sheet as Tigres defeated Marcelo Bielsa’s old side Atlas 0-2 in the Liga MX.
Andrés Lillini’s Pumas lost 2-0 away to Queretaro on 25 January.
CHILE
Carlos Rotondi played for 69 minutes in Santiago Wanderers’ 3-0 win over Colo-Colo on 6 January.
