ENGLAND
Marcelo Bielsa led Leeds United to two away wins last week, making it four victories in a row overall. They defeated Middlesborough 0-1 midweek while on Saturday, they beat Hull City 0-4 at the KC Stadium in The Championship. Bielsa’s side now sit in 2nd place, one point behind leaders West Bromwich Albion and five points ahead of third-placed Fulham.
FRANCE
Mauro Icardi came on as a substitute after 71 minutes in PSG’s 4-0 win over Dijon and scored five minutes later on 76 minutes.

Cristian Battocchio played 73 minutes before being substituted in Stade Brestois’ 0-1 defeat to Angers.
ITALY
Cristian Ansaldi provided an assist for Simone Edera’s injury-time consolation goal in Torino’s 2-1 defeat to Napoli. He also received a yellow card in the game.
Nehuén Paz was an unused substitute in Lecce’s high-scoring 2-7 defeat to Atalanta in Serie A.
Nicolás Spolli was an unused substitute in Crotone’s 1-2 away win over Virtus Entella in Serie B.
SPAIN
Lionel Messi received a yellow card in Barcelona’s 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid in La Liga’s El Clásico. He also played for 90 minutes in their midweek 1-1 draw with Napoli in the UEFA Champions League.
Éver Banega was an unused substitute in Sevilla’s 3-2 win over Osasuna. He came on as a 57th minute substitute in their midweek 0-0 draw with CFR Cluj in the UEFA Europa League.
NETHERLANDS
Lisandro Martínez played for 90 minutes in Ajax’s 0-2 defeat to AZ Alkmaar. He was rated as Ajax’s best player in the game by SofaScore despite the defeat. He also played for 90 minutes and received a yellow card in their midweek 2-1 win over Getafe in the Europa League.
GREECE
Joaquín Torres came off the bench after 60 minutes in NFC Volos’ heavy 4-1 defeat to Panathinaikos.
Daniel Mancini played for 90 minutes in Aris Thessaloniki’s 1-2 defeat to Atromitos Athens. Martín Tonso came on as a 46th minute substitute for Aris in the same game.
RUSSIA
Ezequiel Ponce played for 90 minutes in Spartak Moscow’s 0-2 away win against Dynamo Moscow as the Russian Premier League returned.
UNITED STATES
Maxi Urruti scored a stunning 80th minute winner in Thierry Henry’s first MLS game as Montreal Impact manager. The game finished 2-1 to the Impact against New England Revolution. Urruti also claimed the Man of the Match accolade.
Franco Escobar played for 90 minutes and provided an assist to fellow Argentine Ezequiel Barco in Atlanta United’s 1-2 away win at Nashville SC on the first MLS weekend of the season.
Milton Valenzuela put in a strong performance at left-back for Columbus Crew in their 1-0 home win over New York City FC.
MEXICO
Nahuel Guzmán came up for an injury-time corner and scored a dramatic late winner in Tigres’ 4-2 win over Alianza to send them into the Quarter Finals of the CONCACAF Champions League.
ECUADOR
Francisco Fydriszewski continued his strong start to life in Ecuador with an assist in LDU Portoviejo’s 1-1 draw with Barcelona SC.
Victor Figueroa scored a screamer in Aucas’ 3-0 win over Mushuc Runa.
