Lepers Abroad: Gameweek ending 9th May 2021

Welcome to our round-up for the Gameweek ending 9th May 2021.

Lepers Abroad refers to the performances of ex-Newell’s players and coaches, along with well-known fans of Newell’s Old Boys, who now ply their trade outside of Argentina.

You may notice that the format of Lepers Abroad has changed this week. From this week onwards, we’ll be featuring only players who have scored, assisted, were involved in an incident or reached a landmark in the previous week. We’ll also continue to track the progress of ex-Newell’s players or coaches who are now managers, where relevant.
